College students get 20% offVerify

You’re in college to have fun with your friends. Not with your screen.

bloc is a small magnet you stick across the room. Your feeds lock, and the only way back is to get up, walk over and tap your phone on it. Most times you don’t bother. You go find your people instead.

Sound familiar?

Five friends in one room. Five phones out.

  1. 10:00 pmMaggi in the room. Everyone on their own feed.
  2. 12:30 amSomeone says “chai chalein?” Nobody gets up.
  3. 2:00 amLights off. Still scrolling, alone.

The honest answer

No fridge in the hostel? Your almirah works.

bloc has a magnet on its back and sticks to any metal. Put it somewhere you have to get up for. The walk is the whole point.

  • Your steel almirah
  • The floor’s fridge
  • Your roommate’s almirah

How it works

Three steps. One of them is a walk.

  1. 1

    Stick it across the room

On your almirah or the floor fridge. Anywhere you have to get out of bed for.

  2. 2

    Turn on Hostel nights

Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube lock on schedule. Calls and UPI stay open.

  3. 3

    Walk to unlock

Want them back? Get up, walk over, tap. Most nights you knock on a friend’s door instead.
