bloc's growth is going to live or die on short form video. We need someone who can take raw founder footage and turn it into reels that stop a scroll. Fast turnaround, sharp instincts, an eye for hooks.
What you own
- •Every reel, short, and YouTube cut for bloc and the founder's personal channel
- •Hook construction, B roll, captions, thumbnails. The whole package.
- •Turnaround speed at scale. This is distribution. Speed matters.
- •Quality consistency as volume grows
Daily
- •Four to seven edits per week from founder's raw footage
- •Subtitle and caption pass on every video. Not optional.
- •Iterate based on what's pulling reach versus what's not
- •Coordinate with the content lead on hook direction
What we're looking for
- •A strong short form portfolio. Reels, shorts, TikTok.
- •Sharp editing instincts. Knows when to cut, hold, punch in.
- •Premiere, CapCut, or DaVinci proficient
- •Fast under deadline. No three day turnarounds for a thirty second reel.
Bonus
- •Motion graphics and lower third animation
- •Sound design and music selection
Logistics
- •Per reel engagement (project based) or 10 to 15 hrs per week. Your preference.
- •First month is a trial, extends based on output
